About Dr Caiphus Gofhamodimo
Meet General Surgeon, Dr Caiphus Gofhamodimo, who has extensive formal education and experience in the field of surgery.
Dr Caiphus obtained a Bachelor of Medicine (MBChB) degree from the University of Pretoria, South Africa, in 2011, and went on to complete a Master of Medicine (MMED) in General Surgery Residency at Sefako Makgatho Healthcare Sciences University, South Africa, from 2018 to 2022. During this time, Dr Caiphus Gofhamodimo conducted research on the outcomes of laparoscopic appendectomy in cases of 4 quadrant pus/Grade V acute appendicitis.
In addition to this, Dr Caiphus Gofhamodimo completed a Fellowship College of Surgeons (FCS) program at the College of Medicine of S.A., South Africa, in 2022. Dr Caiphus Gofhamodimo also has previous work experience at Dr George Mukhari Academic Hospital in Pretoria, South Africa, where he worked as a Registra in the Department of General Surgery and as a Medical Officer in the same department, carrying out all duties of a trauma medical officer.

Dr Caiphus Gofhamodimo has competencies in all General surgical disciplines, including Upper GIT and Hernia Surgery, Hepatobiliary Surgery, Colorectal Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Trauma Surgery, Acute Care Surgery, Paediatric Surgery, Endocrine and Soft tissue Surgery, Breast Surgery, and Head and Neck Surgery. he is also competent in Minimal/Laparoscopic Surgery and has a special interest in Gastrointestinal (Upper GIT & Colorectal), Endoscopic Bariatric Surgery, and Hernia Surgery. Currently, Dr Caiphus Gofhamodimo is a Consultant General Surgeon at Netcare Ferncrest, Medicare Hospitals in Rustenburg, Louis Pasteur Private Hospital, South Africa, where he performs surgical operations in general surgery emergencies and elective cases.
About Dr Mosasi
Dr. Mosasi is a highly qualified and experienced general surgeon with a special interest in surgery.
He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree from the University of Limpopo in 2010. He has recently completed his Fellowship of the College of Surgeons of South Africa (College of Medicine of South Africa) in 2021, which is a significant achievement in his career.
Throughout his career, Dr Mosasi has gained extensive experience in various areas of medicine. He completed his internship at Klerksdorp/Tshepong Complex Hospital, where he gained exposure to Internal Medicine, Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Anaesthesia, and Psychiatry.
After his internship, he completed his community service at Mafikeng Provincial Hospital, where he rotated in General Surgery. He then worked as a Medical Officer at the same hospital from 2014 to 2017.
Dr. Mosasi then pursued his passion for surgery by registering for a Registrar (General Surgery) program at Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University from 2017 to 2021. During this time, he gained invaluable experience in a range of surgical disciplines. Dr Mosasi is a Consultant General Surgeon at Netcare Ferncrest, Medicare Hospitals in Rustenburg, Louis Pasteur Private Hospital, South Africa, where he performs surgical operations in general surgery emergencies and elective cases.
